There are many different reasons a person might seek therapy and I am here to learn from you your reason. I am a person-centered therapist who values the working relationship we will build together and use that relationship as the foundation of your therapeutic journey. Through the use of empathy, unconditional positive regard, and a strengths-based perspective, I take the time to get to know you deeply in order to better understand the way you see the world. From there, I help you to recognize maladaptive patterns and coping mechanisms that may be harming you and teach you healthy coping mechanisms. Drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and feminist theories, I work alongside you to develop tools that are intuitive and fit in your lifestyle to bring about sustainable change in your life.
